Hi Fashion's classroom isn't a one-size-fits-all sewing factory. It's a comfortable, social environment where Grand Junction crafters have been learning together for 60 years.
No Experience Needed
Complete beginners are welcome. We start from zero — threading, tension, your first stitch — and guide you step by step.

We designed our classroom to feel like the opposite of a school. Comfortable seating, good lighting, plenty of space, and an atmosphere where it's okay to make mistakes — because that's how everyone learns to sew.
- All sewing machines available in class — no need to haul yours unless you want to
- Scissors, rulers, cutting mats, and tools provided
- Fabric and supplies available in-store (instructor will specify what to bring)
- Small group sizes so you always get hands-on help

I live in Northeastern Utah, it is just a little further to travel here than any dealer in SLC. When my machine had a breakdown emergency after contacting several service shops in SLC I called here. Jeff and his fellow technician were willing to talk me through and get pictures of the broken part in order to diagnose the problem, find and order the part and arrange a time for me to only have to make the trip once. They will forever have my business, it's well worth the trip. Excellent customer service!!!
The people are amazing here at Hi Fashion. I had never touched my machine, and decided to take a beginner class here to see if I would enjoy this hobby. One 'basics' class generated amazing excitement for me and gave me all the knowledge I needed to take off running! everyone is so knowledgeable and willing to help. I would never go anywhere else!
